We are seeking talent of at all levels Analyst to Executive Director
Finance Departments:
Business Unit Controllers (ISGF, IMF, WMF): Ensuring accuracy of the business unit’s books and records, monitoring limits and maximizing efficiency of financial and capital resources & providing management reporting and analytics to the business unit’s management teams, including budgeting, forecasting and profitability.
Capital Planning: The Capital Team manages the Firm's long-term capital resources on a global basis. The Team develops policies regarding equity capital requirements, capital structure, dividends and stock repurchases; promotes the optimal use of Firm capital while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Firm capital requirements; provides strategic analysis and guidance around issues and transactions with capital implications; and co-ordinates capital stress testing for the Firm and its U.S. bank subsidiaries.
Corporate Treasury: manages the Firm’s liquidity and capital resources and accesses funding markets to support the Firm's BAU business objectives and stressed liquidity requirements.
Centralized Management: is comprised of the deputy CFO, Finance COO, Business Strategy & Analytics, Communications & Training and Location Strategy teams.
Financial Planning & Analysis ( FP&A): is the central strategic Finance team reporting to the Firm CFO with responsibility for: Overseeing the firm’s annual budget and planning processes, financial governance, management reporting & expense management
Financial Shared Services: This department includes a Finance wide shared service organization and an operating model for Internal Reporting, External Reporting and Data Services.
Global Corporate Controllers: GCC is responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting of the consolidated Firm and its legal entities, accounting, and regulatory policy and advisory, controllership of the Firm’s infrastructure areas and management the Finance risk and change programs.
Investor Relations: Investor Relations manages the Firm’s relationship with investors and sell-side analysts communicates and facilitates strategy to external investment community and prepares materials for earnings releases
Tax: The Tax Department is responsible for the Firm’s corporate tax affairs, including Global income tax and indirect tax reporting for the Firm’s SEC financial statements, other consolidated and standalone legal entity reporting and global tax compliance requirements and managing tax audits and relationships with global tax authorities
Valuation Control: VC performs as suite of controls to ensure accuracy of inventory valuation in compliance with fair value accounting standards,
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university
- 3+ years of post-graduate work or military experience
- Demonstrated interest in the financial services industry.
- Strong communication, client management, problem solving, and project management skills
Wage Transparency
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
