Reqs Juris Doctor or Master of Laws deg, or foreign equiv. Must have 3 yrs of exp: drafting legal docs in connection w/ various corporate matters & transactions, incl those involving private equity sponsors; drafting legal opinions; analyzing regulatory & compliance issues in connection w/ securities offerings; keeping track of signing/closing deliverables, checklists & transaction timeline in connection w/ various corporate transactions; managing communications w/ private equity clients; & managing communications w/ different law firms & other prof'l service providers involved in corporate transactions. Exp must incl: drafting & reviewing various legal docs in connection w/ fund formation & fund operation by private equity sponsors; forming & structuring fund entities; & negotiating w/ investors (incl sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments & foundations & high n/work individuals) on various aspects of fundraising.
